A site that is early can hide it behind a dead link, or say so. We say so, and we tell you what is actually going on.
The moment this whole site exists for. You quietly tick things you would say yes to — poker, a walk after sunset, a hand in the garden. Nobody sees it. When the fourth neighbor within half a mile has ticked the same thing, everybody gets one ping at once, and a real thing happens on a real street without anybody having had to ask.
It needs two things we do not have yet: enough people on one block for a quorum to ever be reached, and block-level geography that is precise enough to be useful and coarse enough to be safe. Shipping it into empty blocks would teach people that the ping never comes. So the groups come first, then the blocks fill, then this fires.
This one needs an account — we have nowhere to put a request from someone we do not know, and we are not going to start collecting email addresses from strangers to fix that.
